The EMB 120 Brasilia is a twin-turboprop 30-passenger commuter airliner designed and manufactured by the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. The majority of the EMB 120s were sold in the United States and other countries across the Western Hemisphere. Comair was founded in 1977 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, with passenger service to destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. Its fleet consisted of a mix of regional jets and turboprops, including the Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia. The last Comair flight flew from Jacksonville International Airport to Minneapolis/Saint Paul International Airport on 29 September 2012. Designed as a twin-turboprop powered commuter airliner, the Brasilia was first flown on July 27th, 1983. © Copyright 2003-2025 The Flying Mule, Inc.
