Airbus A350-941, serial number 187, entered service with Hong Kong Airlines as B-LGD in February 2018. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines, the aircraft was the carrier's fourth A350 and supported its expansion into long haul markets, including North American services. Financial difficulties forced Hong Kong Airlines to reduce its A350 operation, and B-LGD left commercial service with the carrier in August 2019. After periods of storage and transition, the aircraft joined Thai Airways as HS-THV in 2023 and was named 'Amnat Charoen.' It subsequently returned to regular long haul passenger service from Bangkok.
