The Bedford QL was in production from 1941 until 1945, with some 52,250 made in total. The QLR seen here was a command/ signals vehicle. The QL-series was used by all services in the war, and many have been preserved and are still running today. This vehicle is owned by the National Army Museum and is currently preserved at the Museum of Army Transport based in Beverley, East Riding.
