Boeing 747-830 Intercontinental, serial number 61821, entered service with Lufthansa as D-ABYP. The aircraft became part of Lufthansa's modern fleet of Boeing 747-8I aircraft operating intercontinental services from Frankfurt to destinations across North America, Asia, and the Middle East. Configured with multiple passenger classes including premium cabins, it provides a comfortable long haul travel experience. Powered by General Electric GEnx-2B67 engines, the aircraft offers excellent range, improved fuel efficiency, and quieter operation. D-ABYP continues to support Lufthansa's long distance network as one of the airline's flagship aircraft.
