Boeing 747-412, serial number 26554, entered service with Singapore Airlines as 9V-SMZ. The aircraft joined the airline's widebody fleet and operated long haul routes from Singapore to destinations across Europe, Asia, and North America. Configured with multiple passenger classes, the aircraft provided comfortable long distance travel with advanced passenger amenities for its era. Powered by Rolls Royce RB211 engines, the 747-400 offered strong range and reliable performance. 9V-SMZ supported Singapore Airlines' global network before the airline transitioned toward newer widebody aircraft.
