Airbus A340-642, serial number 775, entered service with Lufthansa as D-AIHZ. The aircraft became part of Lufthansa's widebody fleet and operated long haul international routes linking Germany with major destinations worldwide. Configured with multiple passenger classes, it provided comfortable intercontinental travel with modern passenger amenities. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 500 engines, the A340-600 delivered reliable performance and strong range. D-AIHZ supported Lufthansa's global network before the airline gradually reduced A340 operations in favor of more efficient twin engine aircraft.
