Boeing 747-8I Diecast Model
Lufthansa, D-ABYP

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 747-8I   15"   13.5"

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, construction number 61543, was delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABYP in 2012. The aircraft operated long haul routes from Frankfurt to major destinations in North America, Asia, and the Middle East, serving as one of Lufthansa's flagship jets. D-ABYP featured the stretched 747-8 fuselage, GEn GEnx-2B67 engines, and a modern cabin layout including first class, business class, and economy seating. Painted in Lufthansa's blue and white livery, it offered efficient, high-capacity service on premium routes. As Lufthansa gradually reduced its 747-8 fleet, D-ABYP was withdrawn from service, marking the end of its operational career in the airline's widebody network.

Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969.
