Boeing 747-8I Diecast Model
Lufthansa, D-ABYK

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 747-8I   15"   13.5"

Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental, construction number 61541, was delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABYK in 2012. The aircraft operated long-haul routes from Frankfurt to major international destinations, including North America, Asia, and the Middle East, serving as one of Lufthansa's flagship jets. D-ABYK featured advanced GEn GEnx-2B67 engines, a stretched fuselage, updated avionics, and modern passenger cabins including first, business, and economy class. Painted in Lufthansa's blue and white livery, it provided efficient, high-capacity service on high-demand routes. As Lufthansa gradually reduced its 747-8 fleet, D-ABYK was withdrawn from service, completing its career as one of the airline's most modern widebody aircraft.

Boeing 747-8I

Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969.
