The aircraft operates long-haul routes from Frankfurt and Munich to destinations across North America, Asia, and the Middle East. D-ABPU features Lufthansa's updated cabin layout, including business class, premium economy, and economy seating, along with advanced inflight entertainment and connectivity systems. Powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engines, the 787-9 offers improved fuel efficiency, extended range, and reduced emissions compared with older widebody aircraft.
