Bombardier CRJ-200ER, registered VT-SAQ, serial number 7345, flew for Air Sahara, a short-lived Indian private airline that operated a small fleet of seven CRJ regional jets from November 2002 until the carrier ceased operations in early 2007 following its acquisition by Jet Airways. As part of Air Sahara's regional fleet connecting smaller Indian cities to larger metropolitan hubs, the aircraft supported the airline's efforts to build a domestic feeder network during a period of rapid growth in Indian civil aviation. After leaving Air Sahara, the aircraft flew for several smaller carriers before being scrapped in 2019, used as a parts source by Canadian operator Voyageur Airways.
