Trump Force One is a nickname, coined to sound analogous to Air Force One, for The Trump Organization's Boeing 757 used by Donald Trump prior to and after his presidency. The name was in use during his presidential campaign of 2016. Trump's DJT Operations I LLC purchased the plane in 2011 from Paul Allen's enterprises. The aircraft has two Rolls-Royce RB211 turbofan engines, and is configured to seat 43 people. It has a dining room, bathroom, shower, bedroom, guest room, and galley. Many fixtures are plated in 24k gold. Designed as a narrow-bodied, twin-engined airliner to replace the 727, the 757 was first flown on February 19th, 1982. Developed in tandem with the wide-bodied 767 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 757 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. A total of 1050 aircraft were built before production ceased in 2004, however many airframes have since been retrofitted with drag-reducing blended winglets to help improve fuel economy. © Copyright 2003-2025 The Flying Mule, Inc. © Copyright 2003-2025 The Flying Mule, Inc.
