Airbus A380-841, serial number 070, entered service with Lufthansa as D-AIMH. Delivered in July 2011 and named "New York," the aircraft joined Lufthansa's flagship long haul fleet and has operated high capacity services from Frankfurt and Munich to destinations worldwide. Powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 970 engines, D-AIMH combines exceptional passenger capacity, range, and cabin comfort. Following several years of storage, the aircraft returned to Lufthansa service and in 2026 received a striking special livery featuring an oversized white crane on a blue fuselage to celebrate Lufthansa's 100th anniversary.
