Comac ARJ21-700, registered B-3329, serial number 112, was originally delivered to Chengdu Airlines in 2018 in standard passenger configuration before being withdrawn in 2021 for conversion into one of the first two ARJ21 COMAC Converted Freighters, a program certified by the CAAC on January 1, 2023. Delivered in its freighter configuration to YTO Cargo Airlines around May 2023 for short-haul international cargo routes, the converted aircraft can carry a maximum payload of 10 tonnes over approximately 1,500 nautical miles, representing an important expansion of the ARJ21 program into dedicated cargo operations for China's growing domestic logistics industry.
