Airbus A321-272NX, serial number 12489, entered service with Korean Air as HL8712. Delivered in November 2025, the aircraft joined Korean Air's growing A321neo fleet for short and medium haul services from Seoul to destinations throughout South Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan engines, HL8712 combines improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and lower noise with a modern passenger cabin. The aircraft entered commercial service on November 17, 2025 and supports Korean Air's continuing modernization of its regional narrowbody fleet.
