Airbus A321-253NX(LR), entered service with Gulf Air as A9C-NB. Delivered in February 2021 and entering service on February 10, the aircraft joined Gulf Air's new generation narrowbody fleet for regional and medium haul services from Bahrain. Configured with 16 business class and 150 economy seats, the A321neo is powered by two CFM International LEAP-1A engines, providing improved fuel economy, reduced emissions, and extended range. A9C-NB wears Gulf Air's distinctive 1976 retro livery, giving the modern Airbus the appearance of aircraft operated during an earlier era in the Bahraini flag carrier's history.
