Boeing 737-8H4, operated by Southwest Airlines as N8660A. The aircraft is particularly distinctive for wearing Southwest's famous "Lone Star One" special livery, celebrating the airline's strong Texas heritage with an enormous representation of the Texas state flag across the fuselage. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-7B engines, N8660A operates short and medium haul passenger services throughout Southwest's extensive network. The aircraft remains active in 2026 and continues the tradition of special Southwest aircraft celebrating individual U.S. states, cities, employees, and important milestones in the airline's history. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967.
