Boeing 737-7H4, serial number 27863, entered service with Southwest Airlines as N758SW. The aircraft joined Southwest's expanding Boeing 737-700 fleet in the late 1990s and operates short and medium haul routes throughout the United States. Configured with the airline's single class cabin layout, it supports Southwest's high frequency service model and quick turnaround operations. Powered by CFM56-7B engines, the 737-700 offers improved fuel efficiency, reliability, and lower operating costs compared with earlier 737 variants. N758SW has served as a dependable workhorse within Southwest Airlines' all Boeing 737 fleet for many years. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967.
