Airbus A310-324, serial number 693, operated by Singapore Airlines as 9V-STE. Built in 1994 and powered by Pratt & Whitney PW4152 engines, the aircraft joined Singapore Airlines' large A310 fleet for regional Asian services. The A310 became a mainstay of Singapore's short- and medium-haul network, with 9V-STE frequently serving destinations such as Kuala Lumpur and Penang. After leaving Singapore Airlines, it became VT-AIO with Air India in 2005. The aircraft was subsequently converted into an A310-324F freighter and joined Deccan 360, retaining VT-AIO, before later becoming M-YRGS with Veling. It was eventually withdrawn and scrapped after a career spanning passenger and cargo operations.
Designed as a smaller version of the original A300, the A310 was first flown on April 3rd, 1982. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
