Airbus A321-231 operated by Lufthansa as D-AISQ. Powered by International Aero Engines V2500s, the aircraft is part of Lufthansa's long-serving A321ceo fleet and is primarily used on high-capacity European routes from Frankfurt. Its greater seating capacity compared with the A319 and A320 makes it particularly useful on heavily traveled business and leisure sectors while retaining commonality with Lufthansa's other Airbus narrowbodies. D-AISQ remains active in 2026, operating routes including Frankfurt-Berlin, Frankfurt-Madrid, Frankfurt-Bilbao, Frankfurt-Catania and Frankfurt-Gothenburg. The aircraft also operates selected services for Lufthansa Group leisure carrier Discover Airlines when additional capacity is required.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
