Boeing 737-400F operated by Sideral Linhas Aereas as PR-SDM in the distinctive yellow Mercado Livre colors. The aircraft forms part of the dedicated Brazilian air-freight network developed by Mercado Livre to accelerate deliveries across the country. Operated by Sideral rather than Mercado Livre itself, PR-SDM carries the online marketplace's highly recognizable yellow branding and is used to transport e-commerce shipments between major Brazilian distribution centers. The 737-400 freighter provides a useful combination of main-deck cargo capacity and the ability to serve airports that do not require the infrastructure needed by larger widebody freighters, making it well suited to Mercado Livre's rapidly moving domestic logistics network. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967.
