Boeing 747-412, serial number 28031, entered service with Singapore Airlines as 9V-SPP. The aircraft joined Singapore Airlines' long haul fleet during the 1990s and operated intercontinental routes from Singapore to destinations across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Configured with First Class, Raffles Class, and Economy Class seating, the 747-400 provided exceptional capacity and range for the airline's premier international services. Powered by four Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbofan engines, 9V-SPP represented Singapore Airlines' flagship "Megatop" era and helped establish the carrier as one of the world's leading long haul airlines.
