Airbus A310-304, entered service with Air France as F-GEMN. The aircraft joined Air France's widebody fleet and operated medium and long haul services from Paris to destinations across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and other international markets. The twin-engine A310 offered airlines widebody passenger capacity in a smaller and more economical package than contemporary long range aircraft. Powered by two General Electric CF6 turbofan engines, F-GEMN provided excellent range and operational flexibility. The A310 became particularly useful on Air France international routes where demand did not justify the greater capacity of the airline's larger widebody aircraft.
Designed as a smaller version of the original A300, the A310 was first flown on April 3rd, 1982. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
