McDonnell Douglas MD-11F, serial number 48460, entered service with Federal Express as N604FE in May 1992. Built from the outset as a freighter, the aircraft spent its career carrying express freight across FedEx's worldwide network. Powered by three General Electric CF6-80C2 engines, N604FE combined substantial payload capacity with intercontinental range and became part of FedEx's large MD-11 fleet. The aircraft was named "Hollis" and later "Brynn." After more than 30 years of cargo service, N604FE was withdrawn from use in February 2023 and stored at Victorville, California.
Designed as a wide-bodied passenger and freight transport, the MD11 was first flown on January 10th, 1990. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
