Embraer E190LR, serial number 19000469, entered service with China Southern Airlines as B-3199. The aircraft joined China Southern's regional jet fleet and operated domestic services linking major hubs with smaller and medium-sized cities throughout China. Configured for short and medium haul passenger operations, the E190 provided an efficient alternative to larger Boeing and Airbus narrowbody aircraft on lower-demand routes. Powered by two General Electric CF34 engines, B-3199 combined economical operation with good field performance and passenger comfort. The aircraft supported China Southern's extensive domestic network during the carrier's expansion into regional markets.
