Saab 340B, serial number 184, entered service as N184CJ and later operated for Colgan Air as Continental Connection. The aircraft provided regional feeder services connecting smaller communities with Continental Airlines hubs. Configured for approximately 34 passengers, the Saab 340B was well suited to short haul routes where larger regional jets were unnecessary. Powered by two General Electric CT7 turboprop engines, N184CJ combined economical operation with good short-field performance. The aircraft was eventually withdrawn from service after a lengthy regional airline career.
