Airbus A320neo   3.75"   3.25"

Airbus A320neo, operated by LATAM Airlines as PR-XBP. The aircraft joined LATAM's growing new-generation Airbus narrowbody fleet for domestic and regional services throughout South America. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan engines, the A320neo provides improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and lower noise compared with earlier A320s. PR-XBP supports LATAM's extensive network from Brazil, operating high-frequency services between major cities and regional destinations. The A320neo has become an increasingly important part of LATAM's fleet modernization program as the group replaces older narrowbody aircraft with more efficient new-generation Airbus models.

Airbus A320neo

Designed as a short/medium range narrow-body airliner to compete with the Boeing 737, the Airbus A320 was first flown on February 22nd, 1987. The A320 features side stick controllers and glass cockpit and was the world's first airliner to use use a digital fly-by-wire control system. Controversially, the software includes "flight envelope protection" to prevent the pilot from exceeding safe flight parameters. The highly successful design rapidly led to the development of the shortened-fuselage A318 and A319, and lengthened-fuselage A321 derivatives. More than 4,500 of the A320 family have been produced, almost all of which are still in active service.
