Airbus A340-313X, registered HB-JMB, flies for Swiss International Air Lines as part of the carrier's fleet of four A340-300s supporting long-haul routes to Hong Kong, Johannesburg, and Chicago from Zurich. In December 2022, HB-JMB became the first Swiss A340 to be fitted with the airline's new Premium Economy Class cabin, departing on its inaugural flight with the upgraded seating to Johannesburg. All four of Swiss's A340s received the new cabin configuration by April 2023, extending the popular travel class, previously available on the carrier's Boeing 777-300ER fleet, to its remaining quad-engine widebody operations.
