Boeing 777-F6N, registered ET-APU, serial number 41817, flies for Ethiopian Airlines Cargo as part of the carrier's growing freighter fleet supporting Africa's largest cargo network, connecting Addis Ababa to destinations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The aircraft has worn a special "Pharma Wing" livery highlighting Ethiopian's dedicated pharmaceutical and temperature-sensitive cargo handling capabilities, an increasingly important segment of the airline's freight business. As part of Ethiopian Cargo's substantial 777 freighter fleet, ET-APU supports the carrier's role as a major logistics hub linking African markets to global supply chains. Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994.
