Saab 340B, registered VQ-BGC, serial number 232, previously flew for American Eagle as N232AE before joining Russian regional carrier Polet Flight, known for its distinctive Bermuda-registered fleet reflecting the operational patterns of several Russian regional and cargo carriers in the 2000s and 2010s. Polet Flight used the Saab 340 to serve regional Russian routes, providing turboprop connectivity in a market where such aircraft filled gaps left by larger jets on thinner domestic routes.
