Boeing 747-4Q8, serial number 26326, entered service with Virgin Atlantic Airways as G-VHOT. Delivered in October 1994 and named "Tubular Belle," the aircraft became one of Virgin Atlantic's best-known Boeing 747s. It operated long haul services from London and Manchester to destinations across North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia. Powered by four General Electric CF6-80C2 engines, G-VHOT offered the capacity and range required for Virgin's busiest leisure and intercontinental routes. The aircraft became an enduring symbol of Virgin Atlantic's colorful 747 era before the airline retired its Jumbo Jet fleet.
