Embraer ERJ-145, registered HB-JAK, flew for Swiss International Air Lines as part of the carrier's regional jet fleet supporting short-haul European routes from Swiss hubs including Zurich and Geneva. Swiss operated a fleet of ERJ-145 family aircraft to connect smaller European cities and thinner routes that complemented its mainline Airbus operations.
