Embraer E175+, registered PH-EXU, joined KLM Cityhopper's fleet on February 24, 2018, alongside a new E190 arrival, bringing the airline's total Embraer count to 45 aircraft as part of KLM's ongoing regional fleet renewal program. KLM Cityhopper operates the largest Embraer fleet in Europe, having phased out its Fokker aircraft entirely in favor of the more fuel-efficient E-Jets, which burn up to 22% less fuel than the Fokker 70s they replaced. Flying around 300 short-haul flights daily to European business destinations, KLM Cityhopper's Embraer fleet forms a vital feeder network supporting KLM's Amsterdam hub operations.
