Saab 340A, registered F-GHDB, flew for Brit Air on behalf of Air France from 1988 to 1994, part of the regional feeder network supporting France's flag carrier on short-haul domestic and European routes. Brit Air, one of several regional partners operating under Air France branding, used the Saab 340 to connect smaller French cities and international destinations to the airline's Paris hub network. As part of this early Air France regional partnership predating the later Hop! consolidation, F-GHDB represented the turboprop backbone of French regional aviation during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
