Embraer ERJ-190LR, registered D-AECD, flies for Lufthansa CityLine, the regional subsidiary that operated dense short-haul European feeder routes on behalf of parent carrier Lufthansa from hubs at Frankfurt and Munich. As part of Europe's largest Embraer regional jet fleet under the Lufthansa Regional brand, the E190LR connected secondary European cities to Lufthansa's major hub network, offering greater range and passenger comfort than smaller regional jets. Lufthansa CityLine's substantial E-Jet fleet formed a critical link supporting Lufthansa's global route network by feeding passengers from smaller markets into the carrier's long-haul hub operations.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
