Airbus A300B4-622R, registered HS-TAY, serial number 786, flew for Thai Airways as part of the carrier's A300-600 fleet supporting medium-haul regional routes across Asia. Thai Airways operated a substantial fleet of A300-600s alongside its 747s and 777s, using the type to connect Bangkok to destinations throughout Southeast Asia and neighboring regions. As one of the newer A300-622R variants in the fleet, delivered later than the airline's original A300B4-601 aircraft, HS-TAY represented an important workhorse in Thai Airways' extensive Asian network before the type was eventually phased out in favor of more modern widebodies.
Designed as a wide-bodied medium range transport, the A300 was first flown on July 8th, 1983. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
