Boeing 737-86N, serial number 39395, line number 3915, operated by Solaseed Air as JA803X. The aircraft joined Solaseed Air as part of the Japanese carrier's transition from Boeing 737-400s to newer 737-800s. Powered by CFM56 engines, JA803X has spent its career operating domestic Japanese services, particularly routes connecting Tokyo Haneda with destinations on Kyushu and Okinawa. The aircraft is especially recognizable in its colorful "Nassi Jet Miyazaki" special livery, promoting Miyazaki Prefecture with Pokemon-themed artwork. JA803X remains active in 2026, recently operating services linking Tokyo with Miyazaki, Kagoshima and Okinawa, as well as regional flights between Okinawa and Ishigaki. Designed as a smaller, short-ranged alternative to the Boeing 707 and 727, the 737 was first flown on April 9th, 1967. Over its long operational carreer, the 737 has spawned numerous variants ranging in capacity from less than 100 to more than 200 seats. In fact, the 737 series is the best-selling jetliner in aviation history with more than 6,500 aircraft manufactured to date and more than 4,500 still in service with over 500 airlines around the world. Incredibly, there is a 737 taking off or landing somewhere in the world, on average, every five seconds. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
