Boeing 747-867F, serial number 60687, line number 1505, was originally intended for Cathay Pacific Cargo as B-LIN. Built in 2014, the aircraft was allocated the Cathay registration but was never delivered to the airline. Instead, it went directly to AirBridgeCargo as VQ-BVR, making B-LIN an unusual "what-if" Cathay registration rather than an operational Cathay freighter. The aircraft subsequently became a familiar member of AirBridgeCargo's 747-8F fleet and later carried special "Pharma" titles promoting its ability to transport temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals and medical equipment. Models depicting B-LIN therefore represent the aircraft in its planned Cathay Pacific Cargo identity rather than actual revenue service.
Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
