Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, registered JA835J, flies for Japan Airlines and has worn a "Golden Stork" special livery referencing JAL's traditional crane logo rendered in gold, marking a commemorative or anniversary theme. As part of JAL's 787-8 fleet, the aircraft supports the carrier's international long-haul network from Tokyo's hubs. Japan Airlines has used golden and special commemorative liveries on select Dreamliners to mark significant company milestones, reflecting the airline's practice of celebrating its heritage, symbolized by the iconic crane emblem, through distinctive branding on its modern widebody fleet.
