Airbus A321neo, registered JA146A, flies for All Nippon Airways, which became Japan's first carrier to operate the type after taking delivery on September 7, 2017, in Hamburg, Germany, arriving in Japan the following day. ANA became the launch operator worldwide of the A321neo powered by Pratt & Whitney's PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engine. Configured with 194 seats, including 8 Premium Class and 186 Economy, the aircraft began domestic service from Tokyo Haneda in mid-September 2017, becoming the first ANA domestic aircraft fitted with personal seatback entertainment screens throughout the cabin, part of a fleet plan that grew to 22 A321neos by 2023.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
