Airbus A321neo, registered A6-WZB, became the first aircraft delivered to Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, ferried directly from Hamburg Finkenwerder to Abu Dhabi International Airport on September 2, 2020. Originally ordered by Wizz Air and placed via sale-and-leaseback through BOC Aviation, the aircraft carries a livery similar to European Wizz Air jets but with distinguishing "Abu Dhabi" lettering. It helped launch Wizz Air's UAE joint venture with Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company, initially serving routes to Kutaisi, Odesa, Yerevan, Larnaca, Alexandria, and Athens as the carrier's first Middle Eastern low-cost operation began commercial service on October 1, 2020.
