This hybrid branding, blending Smartwings' identity with SkyUp's colors, illustrates the operational arrangements Ukrainian carriers have pursued since Russia's invasion closed Ukrainian airspace, leasing aircraft to and partnering with European operators like Czech-based Smartwings to keep flying.
