McDonnell Douglas MD-11CF, registered PH-MCT, was delivered to Martinair in April 1995 as part of the Dutch carrier's fleet of six new MD-11s used for combined passenger and cargo operations. The aircraft left Martinair's fleet in February 2013, ferried to Orlando Sanford, before a brief reregistration attempt as N956AR for Sky Lease Cargo that never entered service. PH-MCT was subsequently stored in Miami from June 2013, purchased for spare parts, and finally broken up in July 2016. Its "40 Years" commemorative markings on collectible models honored Martinair's decades of trijet cargo and passenger operations from Amsterdam.
Designed as a wide-bodied passenger and freight transport, the MD11 was first flown on January 10th, 1990. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
