Fokker 100, serial number 11403, has passed through several registrations over its life, including N1420D, C-GKZA, PH-EZO, and OE-IIB, before joining the Slovak Government Flying Service as OM-BYB. Acquired from lessor MJET, the aircraft joined a pair of Fokker 100s that replaced the Slovak government's earlier Yakovlev Yak-40s for VIP and official transport duties. Operated by the Slovak Air Force, OM-BYB has been seen at events including the Slovak International Air Fest and used for official government travel throughout Europe. Its acquisition marked a modernization of Slovakia's small governmental air transport fleet used for ministerial and diplomatic missions.
Designed to supercede the F28 Fellowship as a short-range, medium-capacity airliner, the Fokker 100 was first flown on November 30th, 1986. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
