Serial number 107 identifies the first COMAC C919 delivered to a commercial customer, completing its maiden test flight on May 14, 2022, registered B-001J. On December 9, 2022, it became the first C919 handed over to launch customer China Eastern Airlines, later reregistered B-919A and carrying a "The World's F1rst C919" sticker. The aircraft entered commercial service on May 28, 2023, and operated China Eastern's first C919 international route between Shanghai and Hong Kong starting January 1, 2025. As the type's inaugural delivery airframe, it marked a milestone in China's push toward an independent commercial aviation industry.
