Loong Air's first Airbus A321-200NX, serial number 10428, arrived from AerCap under lease terms, delivered on August 13, 2021. Registered B-323U, the aircraft was ferried from the Hamburg Finkenwerder assembly line via Novosibirsk to Hangzhou, part of an eight-aircraft delivery batch running through 2022. Configured for 210 passengers across business and economy classes, it entered revenue service on August 18, 2021, initially flying Hangzhou to Urumqi before joining daily routes to Beijing Capital and Guangzhou. The aircraft marked Loong Air's expansion into the larger A321neo alongside its existing A320 and A320neo fleet.
