Embraer E195LR, serial number 19000204, flew for Flybe, the British low-cost regional carrier that became the E195's launch operator, starting service with the type on September 22, 2006. Flybe eventually operated fourteen E195s, using them on European routes from hubs like Birmingham, Dusseldorf, and Munich. G-FBEM carried Flybe's fleet through over a decade of regional flying before the airline began phasing out the type in favor of the Dash 8 Q400 and E175 to cut costs. Flybe itself ceased operations in 2020, then briefly relaunched before ultimately shutting down for good in January 2023.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
