This Boeing 747-400 freighter was originally delivered to Cathay Pacific in September as B-HUL. Boeing Capital took over ownership in August 2016, reregistering it as N584BC. The aircraft later flew for Sky Gates Airlines under Russian registration before being repossessed by Silk Way West Airlines and relaunched as 4K-BCH on March 8, with 7L branding. Owned by Boeing Aircraft Holding, it rejoined active freight service flying from Baku to European destinations and Zhengzhou, China. The repossession came as sanctions grounded Russian-registered aircraft, giving this 747 a fresh operational life under the Azerbaijani cargo carrier's growing fleet.
