Royal Flight Boeing 777-300ER VQ-BGL was operated by the Russian leisure carrier Royal Flight on long-haul charter services. The 777-300ER combined a large passenger capacity with excellent range, making it well suited to carrying Russian vacation travelers to destinations in Asia, the Caribbean, and other popular resort regions. Powered by two massive General Electric GE90-115B turbofans, the aircraft offered considerably greater capacity and efficiency than older widebody types. Royal Flight introduced the 777 to expand its long-range charter operations from major Russian airports. VQ-BGL wore the airline's distinctive red and white color scheme during its service with the carrier.
Designed as a lengthened-fuselage version of the highly successful A320 design, the A321 was first flown on March 11th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
