USAF C-32B 99-6143 is a specially configured Boeing 757-200 operated by the 150th Special Operations Squadron, 108th Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Unlike the more familiar C-32A presidential support aircraft, the C-32B performs specialized worldwide airlift missions supporting U.S. government and special operations requirements. Its relatively plain appearance and minimal external markings allow it to resemble a civilian airliner. The aircraft offers long range, aerial refueling capability, and flexible passenger and cargo accommodations. C-32Bs can rapidly transport personnel and equipment to distant locations, providing discreet and responsive mobility for sensitive missions around the world.

Boeing C-32B

Designed as a narrow-bodied, twin-engined airliner to replace the 727, the 757 was first flown on February 19th, 1982. Developed in tandem with the wide-bodied 767 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 757 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. A total of 1050 aircraft were built before production ceased in 2004, however many airframes have since been retrofitted with drag-reducing blended winglets to help improve fuel economy.
