Embraer ERJ-190-100IGW (E190AR), serial number 19000360, operated by TACA International Airlines as N986TA. Built in 2010, the aircraft was delivered new to TACA on June 29 and later became part of Avianca's fleet following the Avianca-TACA integration. It was withdrawn from passenger service in May 2019 and stored before being selected by Embraer for its new E190 passenger-to-freighter conversion program. N986TA became the world's first E190 converted freighter and made its first post-conversion cargo flight on April 5, 2024. Following certification and demonstration work, the aircraft joined Malta-based Bridges Air Cargo in 2025, beginning a new career carrying freight.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
